Our favorite dinner rolls...made with dairy-free, sugar-free Greek yogurt! I really like the brand Culina Plain and Simple for this one, but you can definitely try others.
Greek Yogurt Breadsticks or you can make into flatbread:
- 1 cup full-fat greek yogurt (I use Culina Plain & Simple, 2 5-ounce containers)
- 2 cups gluten-free flour blend, plus more for flouring (I used Bob's Red Mill One-to-One gluten free)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 4 Tbsp non-dairy milk - more if needed to get a good doughy consistency.
- 1-2 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning (or any blend of thyme, rosemary, basil, pepper and sea salt)
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, gluten-free flour, baking powder, egg, non-dairy milk and salt until a dough forms.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Forming the dough into 6-inch breadsticks, evenly spread in the baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine the oil and Italian seasoning. Using a pastry brush to brush the oil mixture over the breadsticks.
Bake for 15 minutes, until they are set and just starting to brown. Enjoy!!
